Instances of females losing hair are much less than males suffering from it. In general females, unlike males, have no particular type of losing hair. Males often undergo the characteristic horse-shoe shaped baldness, known as male pattern baldness, in which the hair from the center portion & the crown of head, with only the sides & the back part remaining covered. This problem is genetic & hereditary. This kind of hair loss isn’t reversible & its commencement may begin as early as the premature stage.

Women hair loss is usually cured by the use of steroid or Rogaine injections. If the hair loss in women is linked with hormonal disorder pertaining to PCOD or menopause, then hormone substitution therapy is considered. Oral medicines like spirinolactone might be used. The technique of treatment would be determined by the kind of hair loss that the female is experiencing. Yet, under no conditions the hair loss is treated without consulting a skilled doctor like a trichologist or a dermatologist. There are plenty of marketable products that promise growing hair on the whole head, which in fact is never achievable. It is suitable to not waste money on such products so that we don’t have to repent.
