Carnival of Healing #90

Hello all Carnival of Healing fans! Well, here is the 90th edition at last! Why so late? Well, unfortunately I didn’t receive the submissions for the carnival until this morning, a day later than I normally would.

You see, according to an email form Phylameana of About.com: Holistic Healing, the wonderful lady who started the Carnival of Healing, she seems to have been having some internet connection problems this week, and in the mess that ensued forgot to send the entries over to me.

She has my sympathy, a down internet connection is truly not a lot of fun!

Anyway, with plans already made for today, it’s taken me awhile to squeeze in some time to put the carnival together, but here it is!

The Carnival of Healing is a weekly round-up of personal blog posts on the topics of holistic health, wellness, spirituality, and self empowerment.

Roger Haeske at Raw Food Diet, Bodyweight Fitness and Peak Performance Living presents Be 40 But Look and Feel Like You’re 20. Roger says he looks and feels 20, though he’s about to turn 40–he attributes this to a Raw Food Diet.

Daniel Brenton at The Meaning of Existence presents Mr. Excellent, Mrs. Fabulous, and The Secret. “My wife and I have spent some time with The Secret, and have had some oddly temporary success.”

Menachem at Menachem’s Moment presents Do we have a responsibility to forgive? Menachem explores this question: “What should I do if a person has so harassed and offended me that I feel I can’t forgive him at all?”

Brendan McPhillips at Brendan McPhillips.com presents Do You Understand that the Earth Revolves around the Sun? Brendan writes that “Most people see themselves as the ‘center of the universe’”, and that they “need a complete change in perspective”.

ananga at Ananga Sivyer’s Living by Design Blog presents What Chronic Illness Taught me about Productivity. Advice about how to “keep things going when your body is going through a tough time”.

polliwog at Polliwog’s Pond presents Giving Sorrow Words. Polliwog discusses her grief over the recent sudden passing of two close friends.

Mousetrapper at Med Journal Watch presents Open hearts live longer. “A new study adds more evidence and interesting details to an old wisdom about body and mind.”

Andrew at Lifecrafting presents Your Body On Life, And Your Mind On Your Body. “In this article I explore how you can go about getting the healthy body you desire.”

RT at Real Women’s Fitness presents 5 Health Warning Signs You Shouldn’t Ignore. “These are some warning signs that people should know.”

John Hill at Universe Of Success presents How to Stop Worrying. “Stop worrying about worrying or simply stop thinking so much since the more you think the more often your thoughts turn towards worrying.”

Eric at Husbandhood presents How To Get Your Kids To Love Taking Medicine. “After struggling with my daughter for many years to get her to take medicine I decided to try something new.”

FitBuff at FitBuff.com’s Total Mind and Body Fitness Blog presents How I Lifted 50 Pounds with My Mind. A story about a firsthand experience of mind over matter.

Aparna at Beauty and Personality Grooming presents Home remedies for burns. “Here’s how you can use common ingredients of the kitchen like turmeric, honey, ice-cubes etc. to treat burns.”

Ririan at Ririan Project presents 19 Battlefield Tips to Survive Stress at Work. “Arm yourself with these stress-busters and survive stress at work.”

Sheppard Salter at salterblog.com presents Breast Feeding. Sheppard expresses his (her? Sorry!) opinions about government recommendations against breast feeding and also about some women who choose not to.

That wraps it up for this week’s carnival. Big THANK YOU to all the participants.

Last week the carnival was hosted at Intensive Care for the Nurturer’s Soul.

Next week (June 23) our carnival host will be Wisdom of Healing. If you’d like to submit your healing-related post or view the carnival archives please visit the Carnival of Healing Archives.
